Opening in theaters nationwide and also premiering on HBO Max today is the psychological thriller The Little Things directed by John Lee Hancock and starring Denzel Washington, Rami Malek, Jared Leto, Natalie Morales, Chris Bauer, Terry Kinney, Joris Jarsky, Isabel Arraiza and Michael Hyatt. The film’s original music is composed by Thomas Newman (American Beauty, The Shawshank Redemption, 1917, Skyfall, Finding Nemo, Wall-E). Opening in around 300 theaters is the drama Supernova written and directed by Harry Macqueen and starring Colin Firth, Stanley Tucci, Pippa Haywood, Sarah Woodward and James Dreyfus. Keaton Henson (Something Better to Come, Young Men) has composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the singer/songwriter’s score today. Soundtrack Album for Mike Cahill’s Amazon Movie ‘Bliss’ Announced

Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Amazon original movie Bliss. The album features the film’s original music composed by Will Bates (Unbelievable, Away, The Magicians, I Origins, The Path, The Looming Tower, Another Earth).  Also included is the original song You And I written by Bates and featuring vocals by Skye Edwards of Morcheeba (click here to stream/download the track and check out the official music video after the jump). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 5 and is now available for pre-order here. Bliss is written and directed by Mike Cahill and stars Salma Hayek, Owen Wilson, Madeline Zima, Nesta Cooper and Joshua Leonard. The sci-fi drama tells the story of an unfulfilled man who, after recently being divorced and then fired, meets a mysterious woman living on the streets and convinced that the polluted, broken world around them is just a computer simulation. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the horror movie Castle Freak. The album features the film’s original music composed by Fabio Frizzi (Zombie, The Beyond, City of the Living Dead, The Psychic, Contraband, House of Forbidden Secrets). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other digital music store. Castle Freak is directed by Tate Steinsiek and stars Clair Catherine, Jake Horowitz, Chris Galust and Emily Sweet. The movie written by Kathy Charles is based on the 1995 cult classic of the same title directed by Stuart Gordon and follows a blind woman and her friends who travel to a mysterious Albanian castle that harbors dark secrets. ‘Little Fish’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Milan Records has announced a soundtrack album for the sci-fi romance Little Fish. The album features the film’s original music composed by Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, A Teacher, Gemini, I’ll See You in My Dreams, Divorce, The Hero, All the Bright Places, Morris from America). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, February 5 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (See You in the Dark feat. vocals by Soko) is already being released a digital single today and is available to stream/download here. Also listen to the full track after the jump. Little Fish is directed by Chad Hartigan and stars Olivia Cooke, Jack O’Connell, Raúl Castillo, David Lennon, Carmen Moore and Soko. The movie is set in a near-future Seattle teetering on the brink of calamity and follows a young married couple who fight to keep their love alive in the face of a mysterious pandemic that erases people’s memories. ‘A Discovery of Witches’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released

Dubois Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Sky original series A Discovery of Witches. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Rob Lane (John Adams, Merlin, MotherFatherSon, Atlantis, The Damned United, Beowulf). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s score from the first season back in 2018. A Discovery of Witches is based on Deborah Harkness’ historical fantasy novel of the same title and stars Teresa Palmer, Matthew Goode, Alex Kingston, Valarie Pettiford, Edward Bluemel, Louise Brealey, Malin Buska, Aiysha Hart, Owen Teale and Lindsay Duncan. HAIM to Compose Original Music for Netflix’s ‘The Witch Boy’

Netflix announced today that the Grammy Award-nominated band HAIM will contribute original music to the Netflix animated musical The Witch Boy. The film directed by Minkyu Lee (Adam and Dog) is based on the graphic novel series of the same nam by Molly Knox Ostertag. The movie is set in a magical community where girls are born to be witches and boys grow into shapeshifters and follows the title character who discovers he has emerging witch powers. Maria Melnik (Escape Room) is writing the screenplay. Roy Lee (The LEGO Movie, It, Doctor Sleep), Miri Yoon (Behaving Badly) and Ryan Harris (The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run) are producing the project for Vertigo Entertainment.
