If… Productions Film GmbH has released a soundtrack album for the German drama The Teachers’ Lounge (Das Lehrerzimmer). The album features the film’s original music composed by Marvin Miller (Balloon, Jim Button and the Wild 13, I Was, I Am, I Will Be). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio clips. The Teachers’ Lounge is co-written and directed by Ilker Çatak and stars Leonine Benesch, Michael Klammer, Rafael Stachowiak and Eva Löbau. The movie revolves around a dedicated sports and math teacher who starts her own investigation when one of her students is suspected of being behind a series of thefts and comes under intense pressure from all sides.The drama, which premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, opened in German theaters last month and has been picked up by Sony Pictures Classics for a domestic release later this year.
