Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy,  300, Deadpool 2, Watchmen, Hobbs & Shaw) & Joel J. Richard (Quantico, Books of Blood, Triple Threat) are returning as the composers of the upcoming action sequel John Wick: Chapter 4. The film is directed by Chad Stahelski and stars Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Shamier Anderson, Hiroyuki Sanada, Lance Reddick, Scott Adkins, Rina Sawayama and Ian McShane. The movie follows the title character as he must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes. Shay Hatten (Army of the Dead, Army of Thieves) & Michael Finch (Predators, American Assassin) wrote the screenplay based on characters created by Derek Kolstad. Stahelski is also producing the project with Thunder Road Pictures’ Basil Iwanyk (SicarioThe Town) and Erica Lee (Bruised, The Contractor). Lakeshore Records will release Bates’ & Richard’s score from the film. The composers have previously co-scored the first three installments in the series. Bates has also composed the music for the Stahelski-produced 2022 feature Day Shift. John Wick: Chapter 4 will be released in theaters nationwide on March 24, 2023 by Lionsgate.

  1. Renie Campoli says:

Am really hoping that the soundtrack to John Wick 4 is released on CD and not just streaming. Everyone seems to forget that not everyone streams all of their media. There are still folks like myself that want hard copies of their favorite movies and music. The first 3 John Wick film scores are on CD; there’s no reason the 4th shouldn’t be, as well.
