Marlana Sheetz (of the indie pop band Milo Greene) has made her film scoring debut on the upcoming thriller The Locksmith. The film is written and directed by Nicolas Harvard and stars Ryan Phillippe, Kate Bosworth, Jeffrey Nordling, Gabriela Quezada, Kaylee Bryant, Charlie Weber and Ving Rhames. The movie centers on an expert locksmith who is released from prison and pulled back into a world of crooked cops and small-town gangsters, despite the future he hoped to build with his ex-fiancé detective and their daughter. John Glosser, Joe Russo & Chris LaMont (Hard Kill) and Ben Kabialis wrote the screenplay based on an original story by Blair Kroeber. Roger Goff (Cut Throat City) and Mark B. David (Poker Face) are producing the project. The Locksmith will be released in select theaters and on VOD on February 3, 2023 by Screen Media Films.
