WaterTower Music & Def Jam Recordings will release the official soundtrack album for the House Party reboot. The album features the songs from the film by artists such as AUGUST 08, Zhané, YG feat. Nipsey Hussle, Buddy, Kent Jamz, Montell Jordan, Azanti, Soul II Soul, Zhané, Smino & others. Also included is 2 Chainz’s original song 2 Step, which has previously been released as a digital single. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 13 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Kier Lehman is the movie’s music supervisor. House Party is directed by Calmatic and stars Tosin Cole, Jacob Latimore, DC Young Fly, Karen Obilom and Scott Mescudi. The comedy based on the 1990 classic follows two aspiring club promoters and best buds who are out of money and decide to host the party of the year at an exclusive mansion, the site of their last cleaning job, which just happens to belong to none other than LeBron James. The film is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Warner Bros. Pictures.
