Brian Tyler (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Crazy Rich Asians) is returning to score the upcoming slasher sequel Scream VI. The film is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett and stars Melissa Barrera, Courteney Cox, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Jack Champion, Hayden Panettiere, Jenna Ortega, Henry Czerny, Mason Gooding, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Dermot Mulroney, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra and Samara Weaving. The movie follows the the four survivors of the latest Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter. James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, Truth) & Guy Busick wrote the screenplay. Vanderbilt is also producing the Project X Entertainment and Radio Silence production with William Sherak (Suspiria, Ambulance) and Paul Neinstein (Bed Rest). Scream creator Kevin Williamson returns as an executive producer. Tyler has previously collaborated with the directors on this year’s fifth Scream installment and also scored their previous feature Ready or Not. Scream VI will be released in theaters nationwide on March 10, 2023 by Paramount Pictures.
Tyler’s other recent projects include the fifth season of Paramount Network’s Yellowstone, as well as Paramount+’s 1923, which will debut this Sunday, December 18. He also has Illumination Entertainment’s animated feature The Super Mario Bros. Movie coming up.
