Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, The Staircase, The OutsiderThe Gift, Tokyo Vice,  Boy Erased, Enemy) are the composers of the new Paramount+ original series Tulsa King. The show is created by Taylor Sheridan (Hell or High Water, Yellowstone) and stars Sylvester Stallone, Andrea Savage, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, Domenick Lombardozzi, A.C. Peterson, Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany. The drama follows a New York mafia capo  just after he is released from prison after 25 years and exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla, where he slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters, helping establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet. Thomas Golubic serves as the project’s music supervisor. Sheridan & Stallone are also executive producing the MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios production with showrunner Terence Winter (Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos), as well as David C. Glasser (Marco Polo, 1883), Ron Burkle (Mayor of Kingstown), Bob Yari (Crash, Possession), David Hutkin (1923), Allen Coulter (Hollywoodland, Remember Me) and Braden Aftergood (Nobody, Samaritan). Tulsa King will premiere this coming Sunday, November 13 on Paramount+.

Bensi’s & Jurriaans’ other recent projects include Mel Eslyn’s feature Biosphere, which premiered at this year’s Toronto Film Festival and has just been picked up by IFC Films for a release in 2023, as well as Dave Franco’s Somebody I Used to Know, which will premiere in early 2023 on Prime Video. They are also expected to return to score the second seasons of HBO Max’s Tokyo Vice and Amazon’s Outer Range and the eighth season of AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead.
