Milan Records has released the original song Keep Rising from the historical drama The Woman King. The track is co-written (with Jeremy Lutito) and performed by Jessy Wilson feat. Angélique Kidjo and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the full song after the jump. A full soundtrack album featuring both the song and Terence Blanchard’s original score from the film will be released next Friday, September 16. The Woman King is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood and stars Viola Davis, Thuso Mbedu, Lashana Lynch, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Sheila Atim and John Boyega. The movie will be released in theaters nationwide next Friday, September 16 by Sony Pictures.
