In a Circle Records will release a soundtrack album for the PBS documentary The U.S. and the Holocaust. The album features original music created for the film by artists such as Kinan Azmeh, Shanir Blumenkranz, Dan Brantigan, Mathias Kunzli, Jason Moran, Dana Lyn, Michael Nicholas, Dave Nelson,  Gyan Riley, Kyle Sanna and Carmen Staaf, as well as music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Joseph Achron, Ernest Bloch, Carla Kihlstedt, Osvaldo Golijov, Vartaped Komitas and Maurice Ravel. The U.S. and the Holocaust is directed by Ken Burns, Lynn Novick & Sarah Botstein and examines the rise of Hitler and Nazism in Germany in the context of global antisemitism and racism, immigration and eugenics in the United States, and race laws in the American south. The 3-part documentary will premiere on September 18 on PBS and will also be released on Blu-ray and DVD on October 4.
