Nadir Studios has released a soundtrack album for the Malaysian historical action epic Mat Kilau (Mat Kilau: Kebangkitan Pahlawan). The album features the film’s original music composed by Santosh Logandran. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Mat Kilau is directed by Syamsul Yusof and stars Dato’ Adi Putra, Fattah Amin, Yayan Ruhian, Beto Kusyairy, Johan As’ari, Dato Rahim Razali, Dato Jalaluddin Hassan and Ellie Suriaty. The movie tells the story of the legendary 19th Century Malay warrior who fought against British colonisers and their high taxes. The drama opened in Malaysian theaters earlier this summer and has become the markets’s highest-grossing local film in history. No word yet on a domestic release.
