Premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday, July 6, is the natural history series The Green Planet narrated by David Attenborough and executive produced by Michael Gunton. The show’s original music is composed by Benji Merrison (SAS: Red NoticeGeneral Magic) & Will Slater (Dynasties). Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score this past April. Premiering on Friday, July 8, is the Apple TV+ limited series Black Bird developed by Dennis Lehane and starring Taron Egerton, Paul Walter Hauser, Greg Kinnear, Sepideh Moafi and Ray Liotta. The Scottish post-rock band Mogwai (ZeroZeroZero, The Returned, Kin) has composed the show’s original music. Also premiering in the U.S. on Friday is the British series Trigger Point written by Daniel Brierley and starring Vicky McClure, Adrian Lester, Mark Stanley, Kerry Godliman, Warren Brown, Cal MacAninch, Manjinder Virk and Ralph Ineson. The show’s original music is composed by Chris Roe (Armstrong, After Love, Mission Control: The Unsung Heroes of Apollo). Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this year following the premiere of the last Season 1 episode in the UK on ITV. Also premiering on Friday is the Netflix limited series Boo, Bitch created by Erin Ehrlich & Lauren Iungerich and starring Lara Condor, Zoe Colletti, Aparna Brielle, Mason Versaw, Tenzing Norgay Trainor and Jason Genao. Songwriter/record producer KOVAS has composed the show’s original score. He also contributed the original song Who Dat Bitch? (ft. Kiki Halliday), which has been released as a digital single last month by Netflix Music.
