Decca Records & Howe Records will release the official soundtrack album for David Cronenberg’s Crimes of the Future. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings, The Silence of the Lambs, The Aviator, Hugo, The Hobbit, A History of Violence, The Fly, Ed Wood). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 10. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album. A limited vinyl edition will be coming out in 2023. Crimes of the Future is written and directed by Cronenberg and stars Viggo Mortensen, Léa Seydoux, Kristen Stewart, Scott Speedman, Welket Bungué, Don McKellar, Yorgos Pirpassopoulos, Tanaya Beatty, Nadia Litz and Lihi Kornowski. The sci-fi horror movie premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and was released in U.S. theaters last weekend by Neon.
