Medialux Music has released a soundtrack album for the Iceland TV series Black Sands (Svörtu sandar). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Petur Jonsson (Case). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Black Sands is written by Baldvin Z, Ragnar Jónsson, Andri Óttarsson & Aldís Hamilton and stars Aldis Amah Hamilton, Pór Tulinius, Steinunn Ólina Porsteinsdóttir, Kolbeinn Arnbjörnsson, Evar Pór Benediktsson and Lára Jónsdóttir. The 8-part crime thriller directed by Baldvin Zophoníasson follows a troubled police officer as she investigates a serial killer.The series premiered on Icelandic television last December and made its debut in several other foreign markets over the last couple of month. No word yet on a domestic premiere date.
