George S. Clinton (Austin PowersMortal Kombat, Beverly Hills Ninja, Tooth FairyDeck the HallsWild Things) and Amit May Cohen (Hollywood Fringe) are returning as the score composers of Disney’s upcoming movie musical Zombies 3. The film is directed by Paul Hoen (Let It Shine, Camp Rock 2) and stars Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, Chandler Kinney, Ariel Martin, Pearce Joza, Carla Jeffery, Kylee Russell, Terry Hu, Trevor Tordjman, Kyra Tantao, Matt Cornett, James Godfrey and Kingston Foster, as well as RuPaul Charles as the voice of “The Mothership.” The threequel introduces a new group of mysterious outer space aliens to the diverse student body of zombies, cheerleaders and werewolves at Seabrook High. David Light & Joseph Raso (Awake, Seed) co-wrote the screenplay and are also executive producing the Disney Branded Television production with Suzanne Farwell (The Intern, Upside Down Magic). Clinton has previously scored the 2018 original film and co-scored the 2020 sequel with Cohen. A soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score from both movies was released in late 2022. Zombies 3 will premiere on July 15 on Disney+ and a special “lost song” version (featuring an additional musical number) will debut on August 12 on the Disney Channel. A soundtrack album featuring eight new original songs will be also be released on July 15 by Walt Disney Records.
