Ernie Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish coming-of-age comedy drama Oliver’s World (El Universo de Óliver). The album features the film’s original music composed by Julio de la Rosa (Smoke & Mirrors, Juan of the Dead, Sara’s Notebook, Unit 7, The Plague). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Oliver’s World is directed by Alexis Morante and stars María León, Juan Diego, Ruth Gabriel, Salva Reina, Rubén Fulgencio and Luna Berroa. The movie is set in the winter of 1984 and tells the story of a boy who is used to find refuge in his imagination and turns to his grandfather to deal with his problems. The dramedy will be released in Spanish theaters this Friday, May 13.
