Radiofandango has released a soundtrack album for the Italian drama The Mute Man of Sardinia (Il muto di Gallura). The album features the film’s original music composed by Paolo Baldini DubFiles. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. The Mute Man of Sardinia is co-written and directed by Matteo Fresi and stars Andrea Arcangeli, Marco Bullitta, Giovanni Carroni and Syama Rayner. The movie revolves around the feud between the Vasa and Mamia families that led to the death of more than 70 people in mid-19th century Sardinia, from the perspective of Bastiano Tansu, a death-mute since birth who turned into a feared assassin, driven into a killing frenzy following his brother’s murder. The drama premiered at last year’s Torino Film Festival and was released in Italian theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
