Linda Perry (of the former rock band 4 Non Blondes) has made her narrative feature scoring debut on the upcoming drama To Leslie. The film is directed by Michael Morris (Bloodline, Locke & Key) and stars Andrea Riseborough, Allison Janney, Marc Maron, Owen Teague, Andre Royo, Stephen Root, Matt Lauria, James Landry Hebert and Catfish Jean. The movie revolves around a West Texas single mother who won the lottery and after the money is gone fights to rebuild her life and find redemption. Ryan Binaco (3022) wrote the screenplay. Claude Dal Farra & Brian Keady (Then Came You, Can You Keep a Secret?) are producing the project with Kelsey Law, Ceci Cleary, Philip Waley (Grace Stirs Up Success), Jason Shuman (Daddy Day Camp, Darkness Falls) and Eduardo Cisneros (Half Brothers, Acapulco). Perry has previously scored the documentaries Kid 90 and Citizen Penn, as well as Peacock’s Punky Brewster reboot. To Leslie will premiere this March at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival.
