2425 Films has released a soundtrack album for the French political drama Promises (Les promesses). The album features the film’s original music composed by GrĂ©goire Auger (Burn Out, The Eavesdropper). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Promises is co-written and directed by Thomas Kruithof and stars Isabelle Huppert, Reda Kateb, Naidra Ayadi, Jean-Paul Bordes, HervĂ© Pierre, Lauren Poitrenaux and Walid Afkir. The movie follows the fearless mayor of a town near Paris who is completing the final term of her political career, when she is approached to become Minister and has to question her devotion and commitment to her citizens.The drama premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and is being released in French theaters today.
