Maisie Music Publishing will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix stop-motion animated special The House. The album features the original music from all three episodes of the anthology special composed by Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, The Book of Life, Babel, Narcos: Mexico, The Motorcycle Diaries, Finch, 21 Grams). Also included is the original song This House Is… by Santaolalla & Jarvis Cocker who is also part of the project’s voice cast. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 14 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The House is directed by Emma de Swaef & Marc Roels, Niki Lindroth von Bahr and Paloma Baeza and also features the voice talent Mia Goth, Susan Wokoma, Helena Bonham Carter, Matthew Goode, Claudie Blakley, Paul Kaye, Sven Wollter, Yvonne Lombard, Will Sharpe and Mark Heap. The Nexus Studios production centers on a house and the three surreal tales of the individuals who made it their home. The series will premiere tomorrow on Netflix.
