Amanda Jones (Twenties, Cherish the Day, Good Trouble, Adventure Time: Distant Lands) is scoring the new CW drama Naomi. The show is developed by Ava DuVernay (Selma, A Wrinkle in Time) & Jill Blankenship based on DC Entertainment’s comic book series of the same title co-written by Brian Michael Bendis & David F. Walker and illustrated by Jamal Campbell and stars Kaci Walfall, Mary-Charles Jones, Cranston Johnson, Camila Moreno, Barry Watson, Mouzam Makkar, Will Meyers, Aidan Gemme and Alexander Wraith. The series revolves a cool, confident, comic book–loving teenager as she pursues her hidden destiny and sets out the origins of a supernatural event that shakes her hometown of Port Oswego to the core. DuVernay & Blankenship are also executive producing the ARRAY Filmworks and Warner Bros. Television production with Sarah Bremner & Paul Garnes (Queen Sugar, Colin in Black & White). Naomi will premiere on January 11 and will air every Tuesday night on The CW.

Jones is also expected to return to score the fourth season of Freeform’s Good Trouble. She has also recently scored Roshan Sethi’s romantic comedy 7 Days, which premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival and will be released later this year by Cinedigm.
