Pinar Toprak (Captain Marvel, Stargirl, Krypton, Us Again, McMillions, The Angel, Fortnite) has signed on the score the upcoming adventure comedy The Lost City. The film is directed by Adam Nee & Aaron Nee (Band of Robbers) and stars Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Oscar Nuñez, Patti Harrison and Bowen Yang. The movie follows a brilliant, but reclusive author who has spent her career writing about exotic places in her popular romance-adventure novels who is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire who hopes that she can lead him to the ancient lost city’s treasure from her latest story. Adam & Aaron Nee also wrote the screenplay with Oren Uziel (Shimmer Lake, 22 Jump Street) and Dana Fox (Cruella, How to Be Single) based on a story by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief). Bullock and Gordon are producing the project with Liza Chasin (Stillwater, Made for Love). The Lost City will be released in theaters nationwide on March 25, 2022 by Paramount Pictures.

Toprak also continues to score The CW’s Stargirl, which will return for a third season in 2022.
