Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, The Kominsky Method, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, CSI :Miami, Turner & Hooch) is scoring the new NBC comedy American Auto. The show is created by Justin Spitzer (Superstore) and stars Ana Gasteyer, Harriet Dyer, Jon Barinholtz, Humphrey Ker, Michael B. Washington, Tye White and X Mayo. The set in Detroit and follows a group of executives of a major American automotive companyas they  try to rediscover the company identity amidst a rapidly changing industry. Spitzer is also executive producing the Universal Television production with Aaron Kaplan (The Chi, American Housewife) & Dana Honor (A Million Little Things, The Neighborhood). Jeff Blitz (Table 19, Rocket Science) has directed and executive produced the pilot episode. The first two episodes of American Auto are premiering today before the comedy is moving to its regular Tuesday night time slot on January 4, 2022.

Cardoni’s other current TV scoring projects include Starz’s Heels, which has been renewed for a second season, CBS’ Ghosts and Season 5 of CBS’ Young Sheldon, which both currently air  every Thursday night.
