THR is reporting that Alanis Morissette will contribute original music to the ABC comedy Relatable. The show created by Elizabeth Beckwith and Christopher Moynihan (Marlon, Man Up!) is based on the family life of the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter. The series revolves around a woman in her 40s, married with three kids, who spent her young adult life as an international rock star. Morissette is also executive producing the project with Beckwith, Moynihan (who will also serve as the showrunner), as well as Thruline’s Willie Mercer and Ron West (The Great), as well as Crush Music’s Jonathan Daniel. Relatable is currently in development.
