MovieScore Media has announced a soundtrack EP for the Bosnian war drama Quo Vadis, Aida?. The 3-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz (Copying BeethovenIn Darkness, Adventures of a MathematicianRosemary’s BabyThe AffairCharlatan). . The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 12 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Quo Vadis, Aida? is written and directed by Jasmila Zbanic and stars Jasna Đuričić, Izudin Bajrović and Boris Ler. The movie is set in the summer of 1995 during the Serbian occupation of Srebrenica, declared to be safe zone by the United Nations, and revolves around a translator for the UN peacekeeping task force. The drama, which was nominated in the Best International Feature category at this year’s Academy Awards, was released in select U.S theaters and on VOD this past March by Super LTD.
