Mark Korven (The WitchThe Lighthouse, Them,  CubeThe Terror: InfamyIn the Tall Grass) is composing the original music for the upcoming horror movie Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City. The film is written an directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down, The Strangers: Prey at Night) and stars Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell, Avan Jogia, Tom Hopper, Donal Logue and Neal McDonough. The seventh installment in the Resident Evil movie franchise based on the video game series is set in Raccoon City, now a dying Midwestern town, and follows a group of survivors who must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and make it through the night. Robert Kulzer (Monster Hunter, Wrong Turn), James Harris (The Informer, Cockneys vs Zombies) and Hartley Gorenstein (Polar) are producing the Constantin Film production. Paul W.S. Anderson who directed four of the previous movies serves as an executive producer. Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is set to be released exclusively in theaters nationwide on November 24, 2021 by Sony Pictures/Screen Gems.
