The Scottish post-rock band Mogwai is set to score an untitled Apple TV+ docuseries about the rise and fall of former Nissan and Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn. The 4-parter is directed by James Jones (On the President’s Orders) and – with the involvement of the people who were there, alongside the reporting of WSJ reporters Nick Kostov & Sean McLain – will tell the full story of how one of the most admired businessmen on the planet became its most famous international fugitive. James Gay-Rees (Amy, Senna, 1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything), Paul Martin (Diego Maradona, Formula 1: Drive to Survive, The Kings) and Martin Conway (Becoming You) are executive producing the Box to Box Films production. Mogwai has previously scored several films and TV shows, including Amazon’s ZeroZeroZero, Jonathan & Josh Baker’s Kin and Canal+’s The Returned. No word yet on a release date for the Carlos Ghosn documentary. (Deadline)
