The film starring Gerard Butler, Frank Grillo, Alexis Louder, Ryan O’Nan, Kaiwi Lyman-Mersereau and Toby Huss follows a wily con artist who is on the run from a lethal assassin and devises a scheme to hide out inside a small-town police station, where an unsuspecting rookie cop finds herself caught in the crosshairs. Carnahan co-wrote the screenplay with Kurt McLeod and is also producing the project with Butler, Grillo, Mark Williams (Honest Thief), Tai Duncan, Warren Goz & Eric Gold (The Marksman), Alan Siegel (Olympus Has Fallen, Law Abiding Citizen) and James Masciello. Shorter has previously collaborated with Caranahan on the director’s last feature, Boss Level, which premiered earlier this year on Hulu. Shorter also continues to score Amazon’s The Expanse, which will return for a sixth and final season.
