Composer Jeff Grace (In a Valley of Violence, The House of the Devil, Certain Women, Meek’s Cutoff, Night Moves) is reuniting with writer/director Jim Mickle on the new Netflix original series Sweet Tooth. The show is developed by Mickle & Beth Schwartz based on the DC comic book series by Jeff Lemire and stars Christian Convery, Nonso Anozie, Adeel Akhtar, Stefania LaVie Owen, Aliza Vellani, Dania Ramirez, Neil Sandilands, Will Forte and James Brolin. The fantasy drama tells the story of a lovable boy who’s half-human and half-deer on an adventure across a post-apocalyptic world as he searches for a new beginning with a gruff protector. Mickle & Schwartz (Arrow) are also executive producing the with Robert Downey, Jr. & Susan Downey (Sherlock Holmes, The Judge), Amanda Burrell (Perry Mason) and Linda Moran (Transamerica). Grace has previously collaborated with Mickle on the features Stake Land, We Are What We Are, Cold in July, In the Shadow of the Moon and the TV show Hap & Leonard. Sweet Tooth will premiere on Friday, June 4 exclusively on Netflix.

Grace also continues to score Facebook Watch’s The Birch, which has just premiered its Season 2 finale yesterday.
