(SME Canada) Audiogram has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature Felix and the Hidden Treasure. The album features the film’s original music composed and orchestrated by Gilles Léveillé (Jersey Devil, Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time). Felix and the Hidden Treasure is directed by Nicola Lemay and features the voices of Elias Harger, Karine Vanasse, Vlasta Vrana, Jérôme Boiteau and Holly Gauthier-Frankel. The movie tells the story of a twelve-year-old boy who sets off to find his missing father at sea with the help of a retired sailor, a one-legged parrot, and a cat who thinks he’s a dog. The animated comedy has just opened in Spanish theaters this past weekend an will be released in UK theaters on June 9. Viva Pictures has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release in the U.S. on May 27 on DIRECTV before its debut in select theaters and on VOD on June 25/29.
