Peter Nashel (I, Tonya, Book Club, The Night Listener, Marco Polo, Totally Under Control, Bee Season) has composed the original score for the upcoming action thriller Last Looks. The film is directed by Tim Kirkby (Action Point, Brockmire) and stars Charlie Hunnam, Morena Baccarin, Mel Gibson, Dominic Monaghan, Eiza Gonzalez, Paul-Ben Victor, Jacob Scipio, Lucy Fry, Rupert Friend and Clancy Brown. The movie is based on the novel of the same title by Howard Gould and follows a disgraced LAPD detective who has spent the past three years living off the grid, when he is reluctantly pulled back into his old life by a former lover in order to solve the murder of an eccentric celebrity’s wife. Gould (The Six Wives of Henry Lefay, Mr. 3000) also wrote the screenplay. Andrew Lazar (American Sniper, Get Smart), Brad Feinstein (The Banker, Jungleland), Christina Weiss Lurie (Rupture) and Steven Shainberg (Secretary) are producing the project. Last Looks is expected to be released later this year.
