Paul Haslinger (Halt and Catch Fire, Underworld, Death Race, The Three Musketeers, Crank, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter) is the composer of the new Netflix original series The Irregulars. The show is created by Tom Bidwell (Watership Down) based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and stars Mckell David, Thaddea Graham, Jojo Macari, Harrison Osterfield, Darci Shaw, Clarke Peters, Royce Pierreson and Henry Lloyd-Hughes. The crime drama is set in Victorian London and follows a gang of troubled street teens who are manipulated into solving crimes for the sinister Doctor Watson and his mysterious business partner, the elusive Sherlock Holmes. Bidwell is also executive producing the Drama Republic production with Greg Brenman (The Honourable Woman, Black Earth Rising) and Jude Liknaitzky (Life, Wanderlust). The Irregulars will premiere on March 26 exclusively on Netflix.

Haslinger’s other recent projects include Paul W.S. Anderson’s Monster Hunter, which opened in theaters in December and has just been released on Blu-ray and DVD earlier this week. Also coming up for the composer is the thriller The Other Me written and directed by Giga Agladze and starring Jim Sturgess, Andreja Pejic and Antonia Campbell-Hughes. The movie, which follows a young aspiring architect who is thrown into turmoil when diagnosed with a debilitating eye disease, is expected to premiere this year.
