Alex Geringas (Woody Woodpecker, TrollsTopiaTrolls: The Beat Goes On!, Impractical Jokers) is set to compose the original score and write original songs for the upcoming animated fantasy adventure Igraine the Brave. The film directed by Holger Tappe (Animals United, Monster Family) & Volker Engel is based on the novel by Cornelia Funke (Inkheart, The Thief Lord) and follows a  young girl who comes from a family of magicians who wants to be a knight than a wielder of magic. When her parents give her a suit of armor on her 12th birthday, she soon gets the chance to demonstrate her bravery. Jane Ainscough (The Space Between the Lines, Lassie Come Home) wrote the screenplay. Engel is also producing the project with Gesa Engel and Lucia Scharbatke for Uncharted Territory, alongside Rise Pictures (Dragon Rider). No word yet on a release date for Igraine the Brave. Also coming up for Geringas is the Netflix animated feature Arlo the Alligator Boy, which is set to premiere this April.
