The album features the compositions by Ludovico Einaudi (The Intouchables, The Father, Samba, This Is England) from the movie, as well as tracks by Ólafur Arnalds, Cat Clifford, Nat King Cole, Paul Winer, Donnie Miller & Tay Strathairn. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 19. Visit Amazon or any other digital music store to stream/download the album and to check out audio samples. Nomadland is written and directed by Zhao and stars Frances McDormand, David Strathairn, and real nomads Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells. The movie takes place after the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, and follows a woman who packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad. The drama, which recently received four Golden Globe Awards nominations, was released in select IMAX theaters last month by Searchlight Pictures and is making its wide theatrical release debut tomorrow and will also be available to stream on Hulu on the same day.
