A soundtrack album has been released for the documentary Woman in Motion: Nichelle Nichols, Star Trek and the Remaking of NASA. The album features the film’s original music composed by Colin O’Malley (Letters to God, Superman Returns video game, Tomb Raider: Underworld). Also included is Nichelle Nichols’s cover of Fly Me to the Moon. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music store to stream/download the soundtrack and to check out audio samples. Woman in Motion is directed by Todd Thompson and tells the true story of how renowned Star Trek actress Nichelle Nichols pioneered the NASA recruiting program to hire people of color and the first female astronauts for the space agency in the late 1970s and 1980s. The documentary opened in select theaters on three nights last week (as a Fathom Event) and is being released on VOD today by Shout! Studios.
