Quartet Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Spanish thriller It Snows in Benidorm (Nieva en Benidorm). The album features the film’s original music composed by Alfonso de Vilallonga (Blancanieves, The Bookshop, Transsiberian, Princesas, Abracadabra). A digital version will be coming out this Friday, December 11 and will be available to stream/download here. It Snows in Benidorm is written and directed by Isabel Coixet and stars Timothy Spall, Sarita Clouhdury, Carmen Machi and Ana Torrent. The movie produced by Pedro Almodóvar follows a quiet British middle aged man who decides to visit his brother who lives in Benidorm and discovers that he has disappeared. The thriller will be released in Spanish theaters this coming Friday, December 11. No word yet on a domestic release.
