Stephen McKeon (The Hole in the Ground, Norm of the North, Queen & Country) is attached to score the upcoming Irish/Belgian horror thriller The Cellar. The film is written and directed by Brendan Muldowney and stars Elisha Cuthbert and Eoin Macken. The movie tells the story of a woman whose daughter mysteriously vanishes in the cellar of their new house in the country and who soon discovers there is an ancient and powerful entity controlling their home. Conor Barry (The Hole in the Ground) is producing the project for Savage Productions, alongside Richard Bolger (Cardboard Gangsters) for Hail Mary Pictures. McKeon has previously collaborated with Muldowney on the director’s last feature Pilgrimage. The Cellar is set to start shooting this month in Ireland and is expected be released in Irish theaters next year. (Deadline)

McKeon has also recently scored the Irish thriller Rose Plays Julie, which is set to be released in the U.S. in early 2021 by Film Movement.
