Stephanie Economou (Manhunt: Deadly Games, Step Up: High Water) is scoring the upcoming Netlix original series Jupiter’s Legacy. The show is based on the graphic novels by Mark Millar & Frank Quitely and stars Josh Duhamel, Leslie Bibb, Ben Daniels, Elena Kampouris, Andrew Horton, Mike Wade and Matt Lanter. Millar, James Middleton, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Dan McDermott and Frank Quitely. The superhero drama revolves around the world’s first generation of superheroes who – after nearly a century of keeping mankind safe – must look to their children to continue the legacy. Sang Kyu Kim serves as the showrunner and is also executive producing the project with Millar (Wanted, Kick-Ass, Kingsman) & Quitely, James Middleton (Altered Carbon, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), Lorenzo Di Bonaventura (Transformers, The Meg) and Dan McDermott (Eagle Eye). Jupiter’s Legacy is expected to premiere in 2021 on Netflix.

Economou also recently provided additional music to Niki Caro’s Mulan (now available to stream on Disney+) and composed the score for two episodes of the new Disney+ docu-series Marvel 616 (premiering on November 20). She is also set to return to score the third season of Step Up: High Water, which is expected to shoot in 2021 and will premiere on Starz.
