WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for the fantasy comedy The Witches. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Marvel’s The Avengers, Cast Away, Captain America: The First Avenger, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 23 and will be available to stream/download here. The Witches is directed by Robert Zemeckis and stars Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer, Stanley Tucci, Chris Rock, Jahzir Kadeen Bruno and Kristin Chenoweth. The movie based on Roald Dahl’s novel of the same title and tells the story of a young orphaned boy who, in late 1967, goes to live with his loving Grandma in the rural Alabama town of Demopolis, where they encounter some deceptively glamorous but thoroughly diabolical witches. The ImageMovers production is premiering in the U.S exclusively on HBO Max today and will open theatrically in several international markets next week.
