Eskmo (aka Brendan Angelides) (13 Reasons Why, Billions) has made his feature solo scoring debut on the upcoming drama Naked Singularity. The film marks the feature directorial debut of screenwriter Chase Palmer (It) and stars John Boyega, Olivia Cooke, Ed Skrein, Bill Skarsgård, Linda Lavin and Tim Blake Nelson. The movie is based on the book of the same title by Sergio De La Pava and revolves around a rising star in the New York public defenders’ office who starts to question the criminal justice system after losing a case that results in his suspension. Palmer also co-wrote the screenplay with David Matthews. Tony Ganz (Vibes, Gung Ho), Kevin J. Walsh (Manchester by the Sea, The Way, Way Back), Ryan Stowell (Jungleland), P. Jennifer Dana (Table 19) and Ross Jacobson (The Assistant) are producing the project. Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Alien) and Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck (Captain Marvel) are among the executive producers. Naked Singularity is expected to premiere in late 2020 or 2021.

Eskmo also continues to score Showtime’s Billions, which will return for the second part of its fifth season later this year or next year.
