Bavaria Sonor Mediathek has released a soundtrack album for the Sky sequel series Das Boot. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Matthias Weber (The Dark Valley, My Best Enemy). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from the first season. Season 2 of Das Boot is directed by Matthias Glasner & Rick Ostermann and stars Vicky Krieps, Tom Wlaschiha, Rick Okon, Vincent Kartheiser, Fleur Geffrier, Thierry Frémont, Rainer Bock, Leonard Scheicher, Robert Stadlober, Franz Dinda, Stefan Konarske, Leon Lukas Blaschke and Pit Bukowski who reprise their roles from the first season. They are joined by new cast members Clemens Schick, Thomas Kretschmann, Rochelle Neil, Ulrich Matthes, Paul Bartel, Michael McElhatton and Sebastian Hülk. The new season premiered on Sky in Germany last week. No word yet on a domestic premiere date.
