Back Lot Music will release the first soundtrack album for the Netflix animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Sunna Wehrmeijer (Spirit Riding Free, Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz). Also included is AJ Michalka’s version of the series’ theme song Warriors. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 8, 2020 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released the original version Warriors performed by Aaliyah Rose. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is developed by Noelle Stevenson based on the classic 1980s show and features the voice talent of Aimee Carrero, Karen Fukuhara, AJ Michalka, Marcus Scribner, Reshma Shetty and Lorraine Toussaint. The DreamWorks Animation Television production revolves around soldier Adora as she finds a magic sword – and her identity as legendary hero She-Ra. The series will return for its fifth and final season on May 15, 2020 on Netflix.
