Composer Edward Shearmur (Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Charlie’s Angels, Escape at Dannemora, Cruel Intentions, Johnny English) is reuniting with director Rodrigo Garcia on the upcoming drama Four Good Days. The film starring Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, Stephen Root and Joshua Leonard follows a mother who helps her daughter work through four crucial days of recovery from substance abuse. Garcia (Albert Nobbs) also co-wrote the screenplay with Eli Saslow and is producing the project with Jon Avnet (Fried Green Tomatoes, Up, Close and Personal), Marina Grasic (Welcome to Me), Jake Avnet and Jai Khann (The Black Prince). Shearmur has previously collaborated with Garcia on the features Mother and Child, Passengers, Nine Lives and Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her. Four Good Days will premiere later this month at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
