Singer/songwriter Julia Holter is composing the original music for the upcoming drama Never Rarely Sometimes Always. The film is written and directed by Eliza Hittman (Beach Rats) and stars Sidney Flanigan, Talia Ryder, Théodore Pellerin, Ryan Eggold and Sharon Van Etten. The movie revolves around two teenage girls in rural Pennsylvania who travel to New York City to seek out medical help after an unintended pregnancy. Adele Romanski (Moonlight, Under the Silver Lake) and Sara Murphy (If Beale Street Could Talk, Gemini) are producing the project. Holter’s previous scoring credits include 2016’s feature Bleed for This starring Miles Teller and this year’s British TV series Pure. Never Rarely Sometimes Always will be released on March 13, 2020 by Focus Features.
