Walt Disney Records has announced a full soundtrack album for the Disney+ original series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. The album features the songs from the first season of the show, including new versions of fan favorites, including some medleys, some acoustic and some instrumental numbers, as well as new songs. The soundtrack will be released digitally on January 10, 2020 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label will also release a new single every Wednesday after the new episodes air. High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is developed by Tim Federle based on Disney Channel’s High School Musical movies and stars Joshua Bassett, Olivia Rodrigo, Kate Reinders, Sofia Wylie, Matt Cornett, Dara Renee, Julia Lester, Frankie Rodriguez, Larry Saperstein and Mark St. Cyr. The series will debut on November 12 on Disney+ following a special preview episode that premiered last night on ABC.
