Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album for the Russian/Chinese fantasy adventure Viy 2: Journey to China (The Mystery of Iron Mask). The album features the film’s original music composed by Aleksandra Maghakyan (The Conquest of Siberia). Also included is the original Dragon Song composed by Zhang Yunshan. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. Viy 2: Journey to China is directed by Oleg Stepchenko and stars Jason Flemyng, Jackie Chan, Rutger Hauer, Charles Dance and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The movie follows cartographer Jonathan Green as he undertakes a scientific and supernatural journey that leads him from England to China. The sequel to 2014’s Viy was released in Chinese theaters this past August and in Russia and other markets last month. No word yet on a U.S. release.
