Milan Records/Sony Music have released a soundtrack album for the French/Italian animated feature The Bears’ Famous Invasion (La fameuse invasion des ours en Sicile). The album features the film’s original music composed by René Aubry (The Gruffalo, The Highway Rat, Under the Bombs). The soundtrack is now available to stream and download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. A CD version is also coming out overseas. The Bears’ Famous Invasion directed by Lorenzo Mattotti is based on the cult 1945 children’s book by Italian poet Dino Buzzati and follows a group of benevolent bears that descend the mountains of Sicily to bring some sense to the human world. The animated movie premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and is being released in French theaters this week.
