Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix limited series When They See Us. The album features the show’s original music composed by Kris Bowers (Green Book, Dear White People, Monsters and Men, Black Monday) who received his first Emmy Award nomination for his work on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 9 and will be available to download hereWhen They See Us is directed by Ava DuVernay and stars Michael K. Williams, John Leguizamo, Felicity Huffman, Niecy Nash, Blair Underwood, Christopher Jackson, Joshua Jackson, Famke Janssen, Aurora Perrineau, William Sadler and Jovan Adepo. The drama chronicles the notorious case of five teenagers of color, labeled the Central Park Five, who were convicted of a rape they did not commit. The 4-parter premiered this past May and is now available to stream on  Netflix.
