Decca Records has released a soundtrack album for the British comedy Horrible Histories: The Movie – Rotten Romans. The album features the songs from the movie performed by cast members including Kate Nash, Emilia Jones, Ruper Graves & others. Also included is the film’s original score composed by Richie Webb (who is also scoring the Horrible Histories TV series), Matt Katz and Iain Farrington. Horrible Histories: The Movie is directed by Dominic Brigstocke and also stars Sebastian Croft, Nick Frost, Craig Roberts, Kim Cattrall, Alex Macqueen and Derek Jacobi. The comedy, which is based on Terry Deary’s best-selling Horrible Histories stories, just opened theatrically in the UK yesterday. No word yet on a domestic release.
