David Sardy (21, End of Watch, Premium Rush, Bright) is returning as the composer of the upcoming horror comedy sequel Zombieland: Double Tap. The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer (Venom, Gangster Squad) and stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch and Luke Wilson. The movie follows Columbus, Tallahasse, Wichita, and Little Rock as they must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (Deadpool, G.I. Joe Retaliation) wrote the screenplay with Dave Callaham (The Expendables). Gavin Polone (A Dog’s Purpose, Curb Your Enthusiasm) is producing the project. Sardy has previously scored the 2009 original movie, which was his second feature film score. Zombieland: Double Tap is set to be released on October 18, 2019 by Sony Pictures.
