Sony Masterworks will release the official soundtrack album for the live-action/animated feature Playmobil: The Movie. The album features the film’s original score composed by Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, The Angry Birds Movie). Also included are original songs performed by Meghan Trainor and Adam Lambert, among others. The soundtrack will be released on August 2 and is now available for pre-order on AmazonPlaymobil: The Movie is directed by Lino DiSalvo and also stars Anya- Taylor Joy, Jim Gaffigan, Gabriel Bateman, Kenan Thompson and Daniel Radcliffe. The movie based on the PLAYMOBIL role-play toys and follows a teen girl who must go on a quest of a lifetime to bring home her younger brother when he unexpectedly disappears into the magical, animated universe of PLAYMOBIL. The film will be released in several European markets (including the UK) this August. STX Entertainment will release the movie stateside later this year.
